About Us

Eswatini Corruption Watch is a non-profit organization that was founded on December 2nd, 2015 with the primary objective of promoting a clean and fair society that works towards sustainable development and social transparency in Eswatini. This organization recognizes that corruption is a major barrier to development, and it is committed to creating a society that is free from corrupt practices.

 

In addition to its immediate interventions to tackle corrupt practices, Eswatini Corruption Watch also recognizes the importance of mobilizing people to understand such violations and challenge them. The organization is dedicated to both individual and collective action to raise awareness and promote social change. Through its various initiatives and programs, Eswatini Corruption Watch aims to provide a platform for people to come together and fight corruption.

It believes that transparency and accountability are essential for good governance, and it is therefore committed to promoting social transparency. The organization strives to ensure that public officials are held accountable for their actions and that the public has access to information that can help them make informed decisions.

Mission

Eswatini Corruption Watch is to provide a platform for the youth to express their concerns and opinions, giving them a voice and an opportunity to develop leadership skills. We aim to help them become positive influencers in their communities while preventing, addressing, and reducing corruption. We strive to promote good governance, integrity, and the rule of law, and to create a society that is accountable and free of corruption. Our goal is to prevent corruption by educating the public and building a culture of zero tolerance towards all forms of corruption in Eswatini.

Vision

Our goal is to establish a society that respects people’s dignity, conserves the environment, and is free from any kind of corruption. As a youth Anti-Corruption Organization, we aim to become a unique and valuable organization that will eliminate all forms of corruption in the Kingdom of Eswatini. Our ultimate objective is to create a corruption-free Eswatini, which will ensure that the socio-economic needs of youth are met. Eswatini Corruption Watch will operate under the following aims: 

  1. To provide a voice to young people.
  2. To encourage young people to make a personal commitment to avoid corruption in their own lives.
  3. To foster leadership skills among young people.
